About Us
Nikki and Jeremy created Harbor Home Renovations in 2021, blending our passion for design and carpentry. We are enthusiastic about restoring homes and incorporating the old style into the new and dream of preserving the history and character of our neighborhoods in Grays Harbor.
Nikki
Nikki grew up in Hoquiam, often working alongside her dad, Steve Hoppe of the former Hoppe Construction, Inc.
While she’s spent the past 20 years primarily working as a bookkeeper to support her family, she did earn a certificate in interior design and spent 7 years with Rognlins, Inc. where she gained the skills to manage projects of all sizes.
Her passions for design, restoration, our environment, and her community all came together when she met Jeremy who has the skills and talents to bring her visions to life and shares her passion for the environment and community
Jeremy
Jeremy grew up in Seattle, where he always felt a bit out of place and dreamed of a simpler life on the harbor.
Jeremy ran a successful landscaping/construction company in Seattle for 5 years and closed due to COVID, deciding to leave the only “home” he’s ever known.
He moved to the harbor in 2020 and spent a little over a year working for a couple different contractors before he and Nikki decided to pull the trigger and started Harbor Home Renovations.
Jeremy has a general passion for construction, but really shines when it comes to finish carpentry and those little details he works to perfect where most contractors would say “it’s good enough”.
Sadie and Ruby
Our mascots, Sadie and Ruby are a bundle of fun.
Together they keep us on our toes and add an abundance of joy to our lives.
They love hiking, having play dates with their doggie friends, and keep each other busy exploring and playing.
Sadie, being a little older and "wiser" knows the importance of naps, and has learned an easy way to keep Ruby on task at nap time.
Sometimes the look in Ruby’s eyes hints at things to come. “just wait till I’m bigger, Sadie. Just wait.”
